Front Royal Kiwanis 5K

📅 When & Where

• Race Start: The 5k run starts at 9:00 am at the Warren County Health & Human Services Complex (the former 15th Street School: same location as in previous years!) in Front Royal, Virginia.
• Registration: Race day registration and check-in begin at 8:00 am in the east parking lot.
• Beneficiary: Benefits Warren County Special Olympics.

🏃‍♂️ Course

• Distance: A measured 5k (3.1 mile) route on paved roads through the northwestern part of Front Royal and the grounds of Randolph-Macon Academy.
• Mile 1: Downhill or flat.
• Mile 2: Mostly uphill.
• Final Distance: The last 1.1 miles are rolling.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: For the top three men & women overall.
• Age Group Awards: The top three in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60 & over.

💲 Entry Fees

• Standard Fee: $15 (without t-shirt).
• Race Day Fee: $20 on race day.
• T-Shirt: Add on a t-shirt for $14 during the registration process: total fee with t-shirt will be $29 (must be pre-ordered by April 28th).
• Discount: $1.00 discount for Kiwanis or SVR.

🗺️ Directions

• Location: The Warren County Health & Human Services Complex is at 500 West 15th Street in Front Royal, VA.
• Route: Take I-66 to exit 6 (Routes 340/522) and head south toward Front Royal.
• Turn: In 9 miles, turn right at a stoplight onto West 14th Street.
• Final Steps: 0.3 miles later, turn right onto Massanutten Avenue. At the stop sign in one block, turn right onto West 15th Street and park in the lot on your left.
