🚨 Important Registration Information

• Participant Cap: PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO overwhelming demand, we are enforcing a strict participant cap for the 1/2 Marathon Run and Walk, and the 5K Run—once the limit is reached, registration will close for these events.
• Race Distances: The Syttende Mai Classic is now a Half Marathon Run and Walk, 5K Run, and 2-Mile Lil' Run—all starting and finishing at Anderson Complex.
• Registration Deadline: Register by May 1 to get your race shirt—no exceptions.
• Half Marathon and 5K: The Half Marathon and 5K Runs are timed: the Half Marathon Walk and Lil' Run are not.

🏅 Finisher Medals

• New Design: This year’s Half-Marathon runners, walkers, and 5k runners will receive a finisher medal with a new design.
• Symbolic Inspiration: The design is inspired by one of the most powerful symbols in Norse Mythology, the Helm of Awe, referenced in many ancient poems.
• Poetic Legacy: In these poems, the bearer of the Helm of Awe symbol was gifted invincibility and went into battle sure of victory.
• Tradition: The variety of events helps more people join in our 52-year tradition.
