Purpose of the Event

We are hosting the 7th Annual Hunger Run 5K in support of Neighborhood Services Inc. (NSI), a local food pantry and resource center located right here in Columbus, Ohio. Our goal is to spread awareness about hunger and food insecurity in central Ohio, bring the community together, and raise money for Neighborhood Services Inc.

Statistics and Impact

• Food Insecurity: 13.5% of Franklin County residents are food insecure.
• Children Affected: Nearly 1 in 5 Ohio children live in food-insecure households.
• Ohio Stats: Ohio ranks #1 in food insecurity in the Midwest.
• NSI History: NSI started in 1965 and has been serving the community ever since.

60 Years of Service

This year, NSI celebrates 60 years of service to the Central Ohio community! In 2024, NSI served 1,174,831 meals to 82,306 individuals! This FUNdraiser has the ability to help feed even more well-deserving families and Columbus residents who are in need.
