The Huntley Historical Society - Sew Hop'd Beer Mile

🍺 The Race Overview

• Format: Four 1/4 mile laps, runners drink a 12 ounce beer before each lap (drink, run, drink, run, drink, run, drink, run).
• Race Requirements: Must drink beer provided by the event.
• Heats: Heats of no more than 20 participants will start every 30 minutes.
• Beneficiary: Event benefits The Huntley Historical Society.

📅 Event Details

• Start Time: The first Relay Team Heat at 2 pm, with additional heats every 30 minutes.
• Individual Heats: Will start after the Relay Team Heats.
• Registration Prices: After July 20: $75 for Beer Mile, $55 for Relay.
• T-Shirt Notice: If you sign up after July 7, we cannot guarantee you will get a t-shirt, we will do our best to get you one in the correct size.

🏆 Team and Course Records

• Relay Teams: 4 members per team, 1 beer and 1 lap per team member!
• Course Records - Male: Daniel Richert 6:46 - 2024 and Kris Pugawko - 7:08 - 2024.
• Course Records - Female: Savannah Henn - 12:38 - 2024 and Savannah Henn - 13:27 - 2023.
• Relay Team Record: Hoppy Feet - 6:15 - 2024 and Sotally Tober - 7:27 - 2024.

🎽 Registration Benefits

• Includes: T-Shirt, Custom Bib, Beer Glass, Finishers Medal, Chip Timing, Pictures.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: If you sign up after July 7, we cannot guarantee you will get a t-shirt, we will do our best to get you one in the correct size.
• Food Trucks: On site after from 11 am to 8 pm.
• Live Music: From 6 PM to 8 PM: bring the family and a lawn chair, hang out and have fun!

⚠️ Eligibility and Logistics

• Age Requirement: MUST BE 21 Years of age on Event Date to Participate in the beer mile.
• Packet Pickup: Saturday, July 26th - 1 PM to 5 PM. RAIN OR SHINE!
• Course Information: 100% on paved parking lot.
• Awards: Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female, Male and Female DFL (Dead Freaking Last) Beer Mile, Top 3 Relay Teams.
