🍺 The Huntley Historical Society - Sew Hop'd Beer Mile

Join us for a thrilling Beer Mile race on July 25, 2026, at 1 Union Special Plaza, Huntley, IL. This event consists of four 1/4 mile laps where runners drink a 12-ounce beer before each lap (drink, run, drink, run, drink, run, drink, run). Runners must consume the beer provided by the event. Heats of no more than 16 participants will start every 30 minutes. The event benefits The Huntley Historical Society. RAIN OR SHINE!

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Saturday, July 25th
• Time: Starts at 1 PM

🏃‍♂️ Race Schedule

• Relay Team Heats: First at 2 PM, second at 2:30 PM
• Individual Beer Mile Heats: 3 PM and 3:30 PM
• Sign up: For your heat when you check in.

💰 Registration Prices

• Before July 20: $75 for Beer Mile, $55 for Relay
• Late Registration: After July 20, pricing may vary.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Sign up before July 7 for a guaranteed t-shirt.

• Food Trucks: On site from 11 AM to 8 PM

MUST BE 21 Years of age on Event Date to Participate in the beer mile.

🌧️ Weather Policy

The Beer Mile will be held RAIN OR SHINE! We will make every attempt to hold the event. If it is raining prior to the start time, Packet Pickup will be held inside the Sew Hop'd Brewery. We will wait out rain until it is safe to hold the event. We will not reschedule the event, but may cancel if heavy rain is predicted all afternoon. This event is a fundraiser, so no refunds will be issued.
