Course Details
Beautiful Scenery: Enjoy the beauty of the Painted Hills and Tucson Mountains, with panoramic views of the Tucson Basin.
Coursing Through History: The 10k course starts at Pima College West and features iconic rolling hills near scenic Starr Pass and Gates Pass.
Updated 5k Course: An out-and-back design allows more room for all participants!

Location: Staging takes place in the shaded middle courtyard at Pima Community College, West Campus.
Pre-Race Activities: Enjoy music, activities, and food trucks before and after the race.
Chair Friendly: The course features smooth surfaces, despite challenging hills.

2026 Race Schedule
Saturday, September 12
Registration & Packet Pickup: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at The Running Shop, 3055 North Campbell Ave.
Race Bib Numbers: All race bib numbers for the 10k and 5k will be inside the Running Shop.
Shirt Sizing: Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sunday, September 13
Early Registration: 5:30 - 6:00 am at Pima Community College West race site.
Race Start: Announcements and National Anthem at 6:10 am, followed by the start of the 5k at 6:15 am.
10k Run/Walk Start: 6:25 am - open to all ages and abilities.
Awards Ceremony: Approximate time at 8:30 am for both 10k and 5k age group awards.
Souvenir Shirts & Medals
Availability: Souvenir shirts and medals for the first 1000 registrants at packet pick-up.
Item Pickup: Items can be picked up by friends if you cannot make the race day.
Post-Race Information
Item Availability: Shirts and medals for non-attendees available at The Running Shop through the end of September.
