Course and Scenery

• Overview: The race is inspired by the beauty of the Painted Hills and the majesty of the Tucson Mountains.
• 10k Course: Starts at Pima College West and includes iconic rolling hills near scenic Starr Pass and Gates Pass.
• 5k Course: An out-and-back format with more room for runners and walkers.
• Staging Area: Located in the shaded middle courtyard at Pima Community College, with space for pre-race and post-race activities.

Accessibility and Beneficiaries

• Chair Friendly: The course features smooth surfaces on challenging hills.
• Beneficiaries: Funds support the Southern Arizona Roadrunners and the BEYOND-Tucson Foundation.
• Race Directors: Produced by Run Tucson in partnership with the Southern Arizona Roadrunners, RRCA certified.

Schedule of Events

Saturday, September 12

• Registration and Packet Pickup: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at The Running Shop, 3055 North Campbell Ave.
• Bib Numbers: Available inside The Running Shop for both 10k and 5k.
• Shirt Sizing: First come, first served with women's and unisex cuts available.
• Shopping: Take some time to shop for running gear at The Running Shop.

Sunday, September 13

• Registration and Packet Pickup: 5:30 - 6:00 am at Pima Community College West race site.
• Start Time: 6:10 am for the TMC 5k Race: 6:25 am for the TMC 10k Run/Walk.
• Finish Time: Approximate time for finish line closes is 8:30 am.
• Awards: TMC 10k and 5k age group awards and prize money awards will be presented at approximately 8:30 am.

Souvenir Shirts and Medals

• Availability: Souvenir shirts and medals for the first 1000 registrants.
• Pickup: Items can also be picked up on race weekend or sent with friends.
• Post-race: Items available at The Running Shop through the end of September.
• Shirt Sizing: First come, first served for sizes.
