TMC Tucson 10k

Race Overview

• Inspiration: Run inspired by the beauty of the Painted Hills and the majesty of the Tucson Mountains, with panoramic views of the Tucson Basin.
• Course: The 10k course starts at Pima College West and cruises the iconic rolling hills of the Tucson Mountains near scenic Starr Pass and Gates Pass.
• 5k Course: The updated 5k course is an out-and-back with more room for runners and walkers!
• Staging: Staging is in the shaded middle courtyard at Pima Community College, West Campus, providing an enjoyable space for pre-race and post-race activities.

Scenic Experience

• Desert Scenery: Beautiful desert scenery with sunrise over the Tucson Mountains.
• Accessibility: Chair friendly - smooth surfaces on challenging hills.
• Beneficiaries: The TMC Tucson 10k provides funds to the Southern Arizona Roadrunners and the BEYOND-Tucson Foundation.
• Race Directors: Developed by Tucson's premier event producing team, Run Tucson, and produced in partnership with Arizona's largest non-profit running club.

2026 Schedule

Saturday, September 12

• Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at The Running Shop, 3055 North Campbell Ave.
• Packet Pickup: All race bib numbers for the 10k and 5k will be inside the Running Shop.
• Shirt Sizing: First come, first served with new sublimated shirts available in women's cut and unisex cut.
• Shopping Opportunity: Great time to shop for all sorts of goodies, so take some time to see what the Running Shop has in stock for you.

Sunday, September 13

• Registration: 5:30 - 6:00 am at Pima Community College West race site.
• Pickup Items: All race numbers, shirts, and medals will be at the Run Tucson tent at the start/finish line area.
• Start Line Announcements: 6:10 am start line announcements, National Anthem.
• 5k Start: 6:15 am for all ages, all abilities, all bodies.

Awards and Medals

• Finish Line: 8:30 am approximate time finish line closes.
• Awards: 8:30 am approximate time awards, with age group awards courtesy of The Running Shop.
• Prize Money: Prize money will be awarded for the TMC 10k thanks to TMC and Run Tucson.
• Souvenir Shirts: Available to the first 1000 registrants at both packet pick-up times.

Post-Race Information

• Availability: Shirts and medals will be available at The Running Shop through the end of September for registrants who cannot make it race weekend.
• From the Past: Damion Alexander and John Harris will provide photos and videos of the event.
• Social Media: Share any photos and tag @runtucson on Instagram.
