Valley 5000

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

With over 300 runners expected and even more spectators, this will be an amazing year for the 42nd Valley 5000, hosted by Sweetheart City Racing. This run/walk will begin in Mehaffey Park on August 2, 2025 at 8:00am.

• Partnership: A new Non-Profit Partner for the Valley 5000. Stay tuned for more info. It is another local non-profit we are excited to partner with.
• Race Start Times: The 1-mile starts at 8am, and the 5K starts at 9:00am for Elites, and 9:05am for the Citizen’s race.
• Elite Wave: If you can run a 5K, men in 24 min or less, and women 26 min or less, sign up for the elite wave!
• Participation: Sign up to run both the 1-mile and 5K, or just one. Either way, you are guaranteed to have an amazing time!

📦 Pre-Race Packet Pickup

Early packet pickup will be at Backyard Tap, Friday, August 1st, 5:30-6:30pm. Please DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. We will be setting up and getting ready to start at 5:30pm. You can also pick up your packets 45 min prior to your race start time at MeHaffey Park on Aug 2nd.
