WAKEFIELD BIRTHDAY BASH ROAD RACE: 10K AND 1 MILE FUN RUN

🎉 Race Overview

• 10K: Race begins on extra wide street and continues on scenic paved highway, mixed with gradual hills and open flat areas across Milford Lake. Aid-station will be at 3 ½ mile mark. Vehicle will follow runners during race for assistance.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: Race begins on extra wide street and continues on flat area. Small obstacle course will be near the 1/2 mile mark. Water provided at the end of race.
• Inclusivity: All races are geared towards all levels of athletes, walkers and runners alike.

💰 Entry Fee

• Cost: $20.00 for all entries by August 28, 2026 for guaranteed Road Race t-shirts.
• Payment Method: CAN VENMO @WAKEFIELDBASH FOR PAYMENT.

🏆 Awards

• 10K Race: Trophies for top three overall finishers and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place medals for each age division (not including trophy winners).
• 1 Mile Race: Awards for top 3 overall finishers.

📦 Race Packets

• Pickup Location: Packets can be picked up Friday, August 28, 2026, from 6pm-7pm at the Birthday Bash information booth.
• Race Day Pickup: From 6-6:45 AM Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Birthday Bash Information booth.

🤝 Community Support

• Proceeds: 50% Proceeds go to Wakefield Birthday Bash general funds.
• School Support: 50% Proceeds go to Wakefield Elementary PTO.
• Community Engagement: COME support our community and our school!
