🏃‍♂️ K-State Homecoming Philanthropy 5K Overview

Join fellow Wildcats and friends for the 2025 K-State Homecoming Philanthropy 5K. The K-State Alumni Association will host both an in-person and virtual 5K. As K-Staters continue a great tradition of giving back to our community, proceeds for this year's virtual 5K run/walk will benefit Be Able. Be Able is a community resource that exists to engage with those in adversity by creating connections, cultivating skills, and opening doors of opportunity.

👕 T-Shirt Information

• Guarantee: T-shirt is guaranteed if registered by September 17 at 12 p.m.
• Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for any 5K registration or shipping fees paid.

🏅 In-Person Information

The in-person 5K will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5 at the K-State Alumni Center.

• Categories: Prizes are awarded for first through third in four categories: non-student male, non-student female, male student, and female student.
• Participation: All students participating in the group competition must be in-person.
• Packet Pickup: Non-student and students (not in a group) can pick up your packet Friday, Oct. 3 from 2-5 p.m. or on Sunday from 8-8:30 a.m. before the race.

🌍 Virtual Information

The virtual 5K is open to non-students and students (excluding groups) and must be registered by 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5.

• Registration: You can register through this site or call the K-State Alumni Association at 785-532-6260.
• Event Details: Enjoy a 3.1-mile walk, jog, or run at a place, pace, and time of your choosing between Sunday, Sept. 28 through noon on Sunday, Oct. 5, and share your results.
• Results: We will compile virtual results separate from the results of the in-person race. There are no prizes for the virtual run/walk.
• Race Time Submission: Don't forget to enter your race time here by noon on Oct. 5.

📦 Packet Pickup for Virtual Participants

All virtual registrations paying for shipping will be mailed the week of September 22. If you choose not to have your packet shipped you must pick up your packet on Friday, Oct. 3 from 2-5 p.m. or the morning of the race at the K-State Alumni Center.
