Warrior Walk

Event Overview

Warrior Walk is a charity fundraising event for The Wounded Warrior Project sponsored by Red Rope, where you reach out to family members, friends, or whoever is willing to sponsor YOU or YOUR TEAM for every lap that you run. The race will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with the loop starting and ending between the Embry-Riddle Student Union and the Willie Miller Instructional Center.

• Schedule: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Location: Between the Embry-Riddle Student Union and the Willie Miller Instructional Center
• Team Guidelines: Teams recommended to have 2-10 members with at least one member running at a time
• Entry Fee: $10.00 per person, $20.00 for a shirt

Awards and Prizes

Registration will get you access to potential prizes that will be awarded to categories such as:

• Most miles: Run by a team/individual
• Most money raised: By individual/team
• Best team name: Creativity counts!
• Announcement: Prizes to be revealed during the awards ceremony

Fundraising Instructions

In order to set up donation pledges for your team, please follow the list below:

• Start Fundraiser: Go to the "Donations" tab and select "Become a Fundraiser"
• Input Details: Provide your individual information, team name, and a shared password
• Optional Message: Include a short message about your team if desired
• Edit Fundraiser: Go to your profile tab and click on "edit fundraiser" for your team fundraiser

Pledges Setup

Unlock additional features to manage pledges:

• Enable Pledges: Completing the previous step will unlock a new tab called "Pledges" where you will need to "enable pledges."
• Final Number of Laps: DO NOT put in the final number of laps until after the completion of the race
• Sharing URL: Once set up, you will have access to a URL to send out for pledges
• Deadline: Final payments for pledges stop being collected on April 25th, 2026, but to be eligible for prizes, all donations must be in by 11:59 PM April 17th, 2026.

• Training Opportunity: Create opportunities for ERAU students to experience Special Operations style training
• Community Service: Emphasis on community involvement through the Red Cross and volunteering
• Internal Competition: Fuel competition among members in a team-focused environment
• Fitness Competitions: Train for and participate in physical fitness competitions throughout the year
