Watermelon Wobbler 5k @ White Barn Farm

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Watermelon Wobbler is a fun 5k trail run/walk/hike through scenic Wrentham conservation land and White Barn Farm property and is the second race in the Farm to Trail 5K Series! It is open to all ages and skill levels. The Watermelon Wobbler comes around in the thick of summer, when the days are long and the fun never ends! Our Peak Summer event celebrates just that - summa-summa-summa-time! The course is thick and green and maybe a little dusty! This event celebrates and supports the sustainability of local agriculture and land management by funding our mission to preserve open land and food security for our communities.

🌳 Course Terrain

• Off-road: This is an off-road trail race.
• Surface types: Course terrain includes dirt and/or gravel paths, rocks, roots, and inclines and declines in elevation.
• Course Details: It's a fun course that we think you will really enjoy!
• Facilities: A water station will be located at about the halfway point. This is a cup-less race, please bring your own water carriers.

📋 Bib Pick-Up

Registered participants are encouraged to pick up their bib at the farm in advance.

📝 Check-In / Day-of Registration

White Barn Farm is collaborating with the Wrentham Food Pantry to provide Farm Fresh Produce to Food Pantry Clients. We believe everyone in our community deserves access to ethically grown, farm-fresh produce.

• Donation: 5% of all registration costs will be donated directly to helping this mission.

• Check-In Opening: Check in will open at 8:00 AM on the day of the race.
• Registration: Same day registrations will be accepted up until 8:40 AM, prices will rise to $50 per racer day of.

🚗 Parking

Due to the incredible popularity of this race, we have secured additional satellite parking within a 3 minute walk (0.2 miles) of the farm.

• Early Arrival: We ask those racers who arrive early to park at our satellite location at 513 South Street (Bay State Physical Therapy).
• Drop-Off: Those parking at the satellite lot are welcome to drop off any belongings and passengers at the farm before parking.

White Barn Farm is a small vegetable farm and farm stand located in Wrentham, Massachusetts. We endeavor to provide and preserve open land and food security for our community. We strive to accomplish this mission in many ways including cultivating and selling high quality, diversified grown produce, maintaining and offering our open spaces to our community, providing education on the importance of local agriculture and accessible green spaces, and nurturing our staff to grow as employees and individuals. Our goal is to grow White Barn Farm as an environmentally, economically, and socially responsible business for future generations to enjoy.
