🌅 Unique Race Experience

• Location: Camp overnight on King George Island, Antarctica.
• Wildlife: Runners will be cheered on by penguins and seals.
• Excursions: Opportunities to visit a penguin colony and a Russian Research base.
• Weather: Excursion availability may depend on time and weather conditions.

• Achievements: Home to multiple world records, including the first female hand cyclist to complete a marathon in Antarctica.
• Young Achievers: Youngest female and male marathon finishers on all 7 continents at ages 12 and 10, respectively.

📅 Event Dates

The TENTATIVE dates for the 2027 WCM are: January 17-25, 2027.

We recommend registering as soon as possible as demand is high and spaces are going quickly.

🏃‍♂️ Event Info

• Opportunity: The only marathon in Antarctica within one week's time.
• Other Options: Other races require a minimum of 14 to 20 days.
• Unique Course: One of only two known events on actual Antarctic land.
• Sea Sickness: Cross the Drake Passage comfortably at 31,000 Feet, minimizing sickness risks.

For the 2027 White Continent Marathon & Half Marathon® Adventure, the prices are as follows:

• Double Occupancy: $15,350.
• Single Occupancy: $15,950.

🌍 Antarctica Information

• Geography: Home to many research bases from countries such as the U.S., Chile, and Russia.
• Historical Event: Hosted Metallica's only concert in Antarctica in 2013.
• Race Course: Courses run between the Chilean and Chinese research bases.
• Campsite: Setup along the race course to refuel and change clothes if needed.
