- 5k Route: Fast and flat course, mostly paved
- 1 Mile Route: Scenic lap around the lake, mostly paved
- Accessibility: Easy parking at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom campus
- Trail Access: Short walk down a trail to Fort Steilacoom Park
