Join FEARLESS! in celebrating everyday heroes at our 9th Annual
We Can Be Heroes 5K & Kids Fun Run
Sunday, October 25, 2026
About the Race
- Time: We will kick off the day at 9:15 AM with our 5K Walk, followed by the 5K Run at 9:30 AM and the free quarter-mile Kids Fun Run at 10:30 AM.
- Welcome: Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome!
- Course: This course is flat, fun, and fast, so be prepared to beat your personal best.
- Awards: 5K awards will be presented to the top finishers in each age group.
Complimentary race shirts are guaranteed for the first 175 registered participants.
Participants who register after October 5 may not receive their selected shirt size, but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.
Packet pick-up begins at 8:30 AM with light refreshments.
Running for a Cause
- Benefit: All proceeds benefit Fearless! Hudson Valley, the only private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Orange and Sullivan Counties providing free and confidential services for victims and survivors of abuse and violence.
- Mission: Our mission is to build an informed, just, and accountable society where all people can experience supportive and safe relationships free from abuse, exploitation, and oppression.
- Advocacy: We advance this mission through education, prevention, advocacy, shelter, and comprehensive services for survivors of interpersonal violence, human trafficking, sexual violence, and other forms of crime victimization.

- Costumes: We’re big believers in everyday heroes and encourage you to be the hero of your own story.
- Dress Up: Dress as your favorite superhero, personal hero, or everyone’s hero. The sky is the limit!
- Prize: All participants in costume will be entered to win a prize.
