Kiwanis Club of Chester Annual 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

We will be hosting the 30th annual Chester Kiwanis 5K Race on Saturday, May 24, 2025. This 3.1 mile race is a popular community event and an important fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Chester. This event draws in more than 300 runners and walkers to connect with each other, appreciate our town, enjoy a hot breakfast and most of all, support our mission of serving the children of the world.

🎉 Anniversary Celebration

The Chester Kiwanis are celebrating their 50th Anniversary of serving the Chester community.

👕 Race Fee Inclusions

• T-Shirt: Our race fee includes a Stay-Dri T-Shirt available on a first-come, first-serve basis on race day.
• Breakfast: Delicious hot breakfast provided by Chester Presbyterian Church, free to runners with a $5 donation for others.
• Raffle: Entry into a raffle with various prizes, available for pickup with bib.
• T-Shirt Pickup: Those who registered early will have their T-Shirts set aside for race day pick-up.

🥇 Raffle Information

We will be pre-selecting raffle winners to save time, the prize will be given out with the bib. Some prizes require winners to be over 18 years old. This years Grand Prize is 2 nights in beautiful Mirror Lake in Lake Placid, NY donated by Confluence Running. They also donated free coaching and gift certificates. Thanks to our sponsors there are lots of other prizes to be announced.

🤝 Community Support

Thanks to the support from the running and business community. Confluence Running will be photographing the event for free. OrangeTherapy will be onsite again. Thanks to the Orange Runners Club https://www.orangerunnersclub.org/ for making our 5K part of the Grand Prix.
