Kiwanis Club of Chester Annual 5K

Event Overview

We will be hosting the 31st annual Chester Kiwanis 5K Race on Saturday, May 29th, 2027. This 3.1 mile race is a popular community event and an important fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Chester.

Race Highlights

This event is one of the most popular runs in the Hudson Valley, where participants enjoy a hot breakfast and contribute to the Kiwanis Club's mission of serving the children of the world.

• Anniversary: The Chester Kiwanis are celebrating their 51st Anniversary of serving the Chester community in 2026.
• Community Spirit: A great opportunity to connect with fellow community members.
• Food: Enjoy a delicious hot breakfast prepared by the Chester Presbyterian Church.
• Support: Help us support the local community and children worldwide.

Registration Details

Our race fee includes a Stay-Dri T-Shirt, delicious hot breakfast, and a raffle.

• T-Shirts: Available on a first-come, first-serve basis on race day: early registrants have T-Shirts set aside for race day pick-up.
• Pickup: T-Shirts will not be held after race day: please arrange to pick them up.
• Breakfast: Free to runners with a $5 donation for others.
• Snacks: Water, fruit, and other snacks will be available for all in the Pavilion.

Raffle Information

We will be pre-selecting raffle winners to save time. The prize will be given out with the bib.

• Eligibility: Some prizes require winners to be over 18 years old.
• Prizes: Thanks to our sponsors, there are lots of other prizes to be announced.
• Community Support: A big thank you to the running and business community for their support.
