YETI OR NOT Snowshoe Invasion

❄️ Event Overview

Get out your snowshoes and join the Vernon Township Board of Recreation at Mountain Creek on January 31, 2026 to take on the mountain and look for the mysterious YETI!

🏔️ Challenges Offered

• 5k Challenge: Choose to tromp across the ridge of the Mountain for an adventurous 5k.
• Final Mile Option: A less strenuous option available (this option is not timed).
• Winter Skills: Both options will spark the best of your winter skills!
• Open to All: Runners, walkers or those trying out snowshoes for the first time – ALL ARE WELCOME!

⛷️ Logistics

• Mountain Ride: Ride the cab up to the top of the mountain to start your snowshoe adventure.
• Registration Fee: Register by 12/31/2025 to secure the early discount registration fee of $25. After that, registration is $30.
• Equipment: BYOS (bring your own shoes).
• Check-In: Registration and check in at 7:30am in the Biergarten at Mountain Creek's Red Tail Lodge. The lift will take people up the mountain starting at 8:00am. The race begins at 9:00am.
