SCAR Superhero Run for Scholarships

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Sussex County Association of Realtors (SCAR) is proud to have their 2nd Annual Superhero Run for Scholarships. Each year, the New Jersey Realtors® Educational Foundation offers annual scholarships to help local High School and College students meet the costs of higher education. Students are eligible for these scholarships if they are:

• High School Seniors: who will be attending an undergraduate program.
• Technical School Students: currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
• Community College Students: enrolled at an NJ community college.

🏅 Race Details

This 5K Run will be held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds on a USATF Certified Course that is fit for Superheroes! The event attracts many participants dressed as their favorite Superheroes. The race features:

• Food Trucks: Enjoy a variety of delicious options.
• Games: Fun activities for all ages.
• Photo Ops: Capture memories in superhero style.
• More Activities: Face Painting, Bouncy Slide, and more!

🏆 Awards & Categories

The 5K race is sanctioned by the USATF. Awards will be given to:

• Top Finishers: Awards for the top 3 Male/Female Finishers Overall.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 Male/Female Finishers in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.

🎨 Fun Color Run

We are happy to add a 1 Mile Fun Color Run this year! You get a white T-shirt to show off your true colors when you pre-register for the fun run. The Fun Color Run is:

• A Warm-up: Use it as a warm-up for the 5K.
• A Fun Experience: A great way to get good and messy!
• Inclusive: All ages are welcome!
• Special Discount: $10 DISCOUNT WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR BOTH THE 5K AND COLOR RUN!!! Choose the BUNDLE event.
