Event Overview
The Sussex County Association of Realtors (SCAR) is proud to have their 2nd Annual Superhero Run for Scholarships. Each year, the New Jersey Realtors® Educational Foundation offers annual scholarships to help local High School and College students meet the costs of higher education.
Eligibility for Scholarships
- Eligible Students: High school seniors attending an undergraduate program, Technical School, or currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
- Community Colleges: Students enrolled at an NJ community college are also eligible.

Race Details
- Race Type: This 5K Run will be held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds on a USATF Certified Course that is fit for Superheroes!
- Superhero Theme: Many participants plan on coming to the event dressed as their favorite Superheroes.
- Activities: There will be Food Trucks, Games, Photo Ops, Face Painting, Bouncy Slide, and More!!!
- USATF Sanctioned: The 5K race is sanctioned by the USATF.
Awards
- Top Finishers: Awards to top 3 Male/Female Finishers Overall.
- Age Group Awards: Awards to top 3 Male/Female Finishers in the following Age Groups: 12 and under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.

Additional Event
- Fun Color Run: We are happy to add a 1 Mile Fun Color Run this year!!!
- T-Shirt: Participants receive a white T-shirt to show off their true colors when they pre-register for the fun run.
- Age Variety: All ages are welcome!!!
- Warm-Up Option: You can use the fun run as a warm-up for the 5K or just an excuse to get good and messy!
