Race the Reserve Whidbey Island

Race Overview

• Location: Coupeville, WA on beautiful Whidbey Island.
• Unique Experience: Traverse both Ebey's Prairie and Crockett Prairie within Ebey's Landing National Historic Preserve.
• Spectacular Views: Enjoy panoramic ocean and prairie farmland views.
• Historical Significance: First of only three historical reserves in the country established in 1978.

Course Highlights

• Scenic Route: Begins on the south side of the seaport community of Coupeville.
• Natural Vistas: Views of Mount Baker, the North Cascades, Olympic Mountains, Mount Rainier, and the San Juan Islands.
• Waterway Sightings: Catch glimpses of ferries between Coupeville and Port Townsend.
• Diverse Terrain: A mix of dramatic seaside bluffs, dense forest, dirt and paved trails, and fertile prairies.

Support and Registration

• Event Purpose: Supports graduation week activities for the 2027 Seniors from Coupeville HS.
• Registration Deadline: Register by July 12th, 2026 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
• Sanctioning: This event is USATF Sanctioned.
