Join us in supporting Julie’s Pink Warrior Project at the JOSC race series bonus race, the Miles for Mammos 5k on Saturday, October 18, 2025!

💖 Event Purpose

• Mission: Julie's Pink Warrior Project provides free screening mammograms to the uninsured and underinsured in our community.
• Impact: Money raised from this race goes directly to funding those free mammograms.

🏁 Race Details

• Date: October 18, 2025
• Time: 8am after an energizing warmup
• Location: Jacksonville Commons Rec Center, 100 Recreation Lane, Jacksonville, NC
• Course: Flat, fast, and stroller friendly, suitable for walkers and runners of all ages and abilities.

💧 Course Features

• Hydration: A water station around the halfway point.
• Cheer Support: Spectators and fellow runners will cheer you on during the final stretch.
• Finishers Medal: All participants will receive a finishers medal after crossing the finish line.
• Post-Race Snacks: Refuel with delicious snacks after the race!

💲 Registration Information

• Pricing: 5K $35 until Oct 1, 2025: $40 from Oct 1 thru 18, 2025.
• Children: Kids 5 & under free (no shirt/medal).
• Virtual Run: $30 (includes medal).
• Discount: Employees and family members receive a discounted entry fee: $25 for 5K.

🎽 Additional Information

• Packet Pickup: Race packet pickup will be announced closer to the event.
• Beneficiary: All proceeds from the Miles for Mammos 5K benefit Julie's Pink Warrior Project.
• Shirt Sizes: Shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed after 9/25/2025.
