On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Citizens Medical Center will host the 8th Annual Citizens Run Against Cancer Half-Marathon and 5K in Victoria, Texas. All proceeds from this event benefit local patients who are battling cancer.

🎗️ Audience:

Participants:
- The race route showcases the heart of Victoria, starting in Downtown Victoria, through Riverside Park, and ending at DeLeon Plaza.
- Visitors are encouraged to explore all that Victoria offers, including camping, fishing, kayaking, shopping, and historical sightseeing.
- With over 1,500 participants, volunteers, and spectators, this is an inspiring event supporting a worthy cause.

📝 Transfer & Deferral Policy

While refunds are not offered if the event is canceled, options are available to keep the Citizens Medical Center Run Against Cancer as part of your 2025 goals. The event is a yearly fundraiser with all expenses committed in advance.

📦 Packet Pickup

Pickup Dates:
- Thursday, 10/10/2024 & Friday, 10/11/2024 from 3pm-7pm at Citizens HealthPlex, 9406 NE Zac Lentz Pkwy, Victoria, TX 77904.

🏁 Race Day Information

Start Time:
- Half marathon and Relay start at 7:30am. 5K begins at 8:00am.
- Team contest & parade at 7:45am for creative costumes and team names. Awards for most spirited, creative name & best costume.
- Maximum 4 hours allowed for the Half Marathon and Relay.
- Parking available in One O'Connor Plaza parking garage before 6:30am and on surrounding side streets.
