Race Overview

Join VARRA on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 7:30 AM at Riverside Park for a fun 5k! The Sparkler Kids 1 Mile run is also returning and will begin at 8:15 AM to allow for kiddos to participate as well!

Participation Fees

• Initial Fee: $30 for registration
• Price Increase: $35 starting June 1
• Race Day Fee: $40 on July 4
• Registration Deadline: Ends at 7:15 AM race morning

Member Discounts

• Discount: Paid VARRA members receive a 20% discount
• Application: Discount is automatically applied at checkout

Event Details

• Check-in Time: Bib pickup from 6:30 AM - 7:15 AM
• Location: Riverside Stadium
• Presence Required: Each participant must be present at check-in
• Importance: Prevents timing errors affecting results and awards

Parking and Timing

• Parking: Available at the Riverside Stadium Parking Lot
• Timing: Race is chip timed
• Awards: Overall Male, Overall Female, and age group awards 3 deep with 10 year age increments

Weather Policy

Every effort will be made to start the race on time. If there is rain, the run will still start at 7:30 AM. If there is lightning, the start will be delayed until the lightning passes and the run can begin safely, so please plan accordingly.
