🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Thank you for your interest in the Rushville Police Department’s “Can You Get Away?” 5K. Proceeds from this race will be directed toward the recently commissioned Fallen Officer and K9 Memorial to be erected on the police department lawn.

🛡️ Memorial Purpose

• Homage: The memorial will pay homage to all past police K9s.
• Tribute: Gives special tribute to Rushville Police Department officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
• Design: The monument will contain life-size statues of both a police K9 and a Rushville Police Officer.
• Recognition: This memorial serves as a permanent reminder of their sacrifices.

🌳 Race Details

• Date: July 12, 2025
• Location: Riverside Park Amphitheater, Rushville, IN
• Distance: 5 Kilometer (3.1 mile) Run/Walk
• Terrain: Off-road surfaces that will challenge participants.

🏅 Competition and Prizes

This will be a timed event with custom medals for the top three finishers in each running division. Additionally, participants will compete against the times of the officers of the Rushville Police Department.

• Challenge: See if you can evade the Long Arm of the Law.
• Prize: Participants who beat the times of all Top Cops will receive a special prize.
• Incentive: This adds a competitive edge for participants!
