Kingswood KLAM 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Event Overview

Kingswood Recreation Association is hosting our 10th annual 5K fun run and walk and a 1 mile fun run for kids! The event will be held Saturday June 7, at 8:30 and 8:00 am respectively. All race participants may spend the day at Kingswood Pool after the race. The race proceeds will benefit Kingswood Pool and Recreation Association. The 1 mile fun run begins at 8:00 am and the 5K run/walk begins at 8:30 am. The awards will be held at 9:45 am with 90+ awards. This race is a Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Awards are given to the top three overall men and women.
• Age Group Awards: Awards are given to the top three in five-year age groups from 14 and under to 70 and over.
• Walk Division Awards: Awards are also given to the top three men and women in the walk division.

T-shirts

• Size Guarantee: T-shirts and exact sizes are only guaranteed to entrants who register by Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
• Supply Availability: After May 27, shirts are first come, first served, while supplies last.

Kingswood Pool 5K Run Course

• Start and Finish: The race starts and finishes at the pool asphalt driveway at "No Parking" sign, near the clubhouse.
• Course Route: Right on Spring Road, left on West Kingswood Drive to end of road out-and-back.
• Route Details: Continue with right turns on Spring, Oak Road, and Perry: left on Holly Road.
• Finish Path: Right into pool entrance, continuing on gravel and asphalt driveway to the clubhouse.

One Mile Fun Run

For the one mile fun run:

• Starting Route: Go out the pool sidewalk/pathway to Kingswood Drive.
• Loop: Complete the Kingswood Drive/Dover Road/Kingswood Drive loop, which is a portion of the 5K course.
• Out-and-Back: Brief out-and-back just before Spring Road, returning the same way to the finish.
• Start/Finish Line: Same start/finish line as the 5K.
