Race Overview

The 4th annual event is in memory of Connor James Smith who passed away at age 12, but loved being outdoors and being pushed in his wheelchair on runs with his mom. All proceeds will benefit the Connor James Smith grant for SCN8A families.

Event Summary

• Date: Saturday, June 13th
• Purpose: Supporting children with special needs, special equipment, and therapies
• Entry Benefits: Official race time, finisher's medal, finish-line beer (valid only on race day)
• Virtual Participants: 7 days to complete their distance and receive a finisher's medal

Event Details

• Race Lengths: Half-Marathon, Quarter-Marathon, and 5k
• Virtual Option: Available for all three distances
• Location: Capital Trail starting from Indian Fields Tavern
• Water Stations: Available at both turn-around points for the Half-Marathon

Race Specifics

Half-Marathon

• Distance: Two 3.25-mile loops (out and back)
• Pickup Time: Race day bib pickup from 6:30 am to 7:15 am
• Race Start: 7:30 am

Quarter Marathon

• Distance: One 3.25-mile loop (out and back)
• Pickup Time: Anytime between 6:30 am and 8:15 am
• Start Window: Anytime between 7:30 am and 8:30 am

5k

• Distance: 1.55 miles out and back
• Pickup Time: Anytime between 6:30 am and 8:15 am
• Start Window: Anytime between 7:30 am and 8:30 am
