Awards Details
- Awards 50 Mile: Top 3 Pro/Expert M/F are eligible for prize money of $400, $250, and $100 for third.
- Top Awards: Top 8 Pro/Expert M/F receive awards and free entries into Monster Cross 2025.
- Category Awards: Top 6 finishers in each category M/F receive awards: 1st place in each category gets a free entry into Monster Cross 2025.
- Awards 25 Mile: Top 3 receive awards in each category (jr, open and over 50).
Parking Information
- Tip: Arrive by 8am to avoid entrance backups.
- Fees: State Park charges $7 parking per carload: VA state park permit holders should display it on their mirror/dash.
- Access: After entering, continue straight for 1 1/2 miles to the parking lot.
- Packet Pickup: Located under shelter #2 at the back of the parking lot.
Facilities
- Restrooms: Two separate indoor options available in the parking lot.
- Locations: One is halfway in on the right, and the other is near shelter #2.
Race Start Times
- Wave 1: Pro/Expert M/F at 10 a.m.
- Wave 2: All other 50-mile divisions.
- Wave 3: All 25-mile divisions.
Packet Pickup
Early packet pickup will be offered Friday and Saturday.
Course Details
- Distance: 50 or 25 miles on rolling fire roads and double track.
- Pre-Rides: Do not ride on any trails that state no bikes: use approved segments on race day only.
Age Divisions
For age group divisions, we will take your age as of race date.
Support Stations
We will offer two on-course aid stations and one at the start/finish area.
Weather Policies
Weather delay date will be March 7th if there is snow on the course.
