Racing Information
- Timing: Professionally chipped time race with live results.
- Race Start Time: All races start at 9am.
Race Venue
- Staging Area: Located about 1 1/2 miles straight into the park on State Park Rd.
- Arrival: Follow park signs to the pool parking lot/boat launch.
- Setup: Start, finish, and staging will be on the large grass field adjacent to the boat launch.
- Tents: All race activities will be located at the black and orange tents on the field.
Parking Information
- Fees: The park regular fee is required unless you have a state park permit.
- Cost: All-day parking access is currently $10 per car load on weekends.
- Payment Methods: Cash is the fastest method, though cards are accepted.
- Location: Park at the contact station upon entrance.
Race Day Pickup
- Time: October 4, Sunday, from 7:30am to 9am at the staging area.
- Race Number: Your race number has a timing chip on the back.
- Placement: Ensure your number is visible and attached properly during the event.
- Visibility: Optimal placement is on your shirt to tag photos to your results.
Awards Breakdown
The following awards will be given on race day for both the 10k and 1/2 Marathon categories:
- Categories: Awards will be given to 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ Male and Female.
Course Information
- New Trails: The new course features hiking trails with picturesque views.
- Course Structure: The 10k has a loop course, and the 1/2 marathon features a larger loop.
- Terrain: The newer trails are runnable with good footing.
- Finishing Touch: You'll finish the last 4+ miles on Coop and Trooper Trails.
On-Course Aid
- Water Stations: Available at approximately 3, 6, and 9 miles.
- Recommendation: It’s best to carry your own refillable water pack and fuel.
- Bathrooms: There are two indoor bathrooms near the start/finish area.
- Location: One bathroom is behind the soda machines and the other near shelter #2.
