🏃♀️ Hopson 5K - Give Cancer The Bird
Run, Walk or Soar with us for the 4th annual Hopson 5K - Give Cancer the Bird. Located in the Hamlet of Honeoye, you will experience beautiful fall foliage throughout the entire course without the dangers of vehicle traffic. You may have to dodge a few rabbits or squirrels or yield to a fairy or two in Hopson's Forest! The majority of the course is a combination of wide grassy trails through WoodsEdge Retreat and the established trails through Sandy Bottom Park. If we’re lucky, our pair of resident Bald Eagles will guide the way. This year's beneficiary will be C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association.
🍻 Post Race Event
Post race event at Birdhouse Brewery located across the street from the start/finish line. Post race event to include live music, a complementary pint of Birdhouse beer, and a good time with friends and family. Dainty Donuts will be part of the festivities.
🏆 Awards
Awards presented to the 1st place overall female & male finishers, 1st place overall masters male & female, and "middle of the flock." Every finisher will receive a custom designed, locally produced finisher medal.
👕 Registration and Details
Register by September 25th to guarantee a t-shirt. After September 25th, a limited surplus may be available. For safety reasons, strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course. Virtual registration option available for those unable to join in person.
