Taste of Portage Half Marathon will take you on a beautiful run through Portage, Wisconsin.

🌳 Race Course Details

• Variety: A course with lots of variety as you make your way past several of our community parks and the paved Levee path on the Wisconsin River.
• Swag: We will have cool swag, medals, and a huge downtown post-race block party/awards ceremony!
• Date: See you on August 29, 2026!
• Location: The race starts and finishes at the Columbia County Administration Building, located at 112 Edgewater Street, Portage, WI 53901.

🎉 Family Fun

• Community Event: Bring your whole family and enjoy the race as part of our annual Taste of Portage Market Fair in downtown for the weekend.
• Friday Night: Packets can be picked up at the event and you can stay to enjoy some live music and food.
• Post-Race Party: After the race on Saturday, enjoy the downtown party with live music, kid’s entertainment, a classic car show, sidewalk sales, and lots of food and cold beverages!

🏨 Lodging Information

• Special Rate: The Portage Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center is offering a special group rate for those staying over.
• Reservation: To reserve a room at this special rate call 608-742-2200 (Ask for the Taste of Portage Marathon Room Rate).
• Amenities: The Best Western has recently been renovated, offers an indoor heated pool, and a complimentary HOT breakfast.
