Reading Hospital Road Run

🏃‍♂️ Come Run with Us!

The 2025 Reading Hospital Road Run, hosted by The Friends of Reading Hospital, will include our standard in-person event distances of 1/2 marathon and 5K races and 1 mile fun walk/run to be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The deadline to get a guaranteed shirt is September 15, 2025.

🥇 Race Distances & Schedule

• 1/2 Marathon: 8:00am
• 5K: 8:05am
• Chip Timing: Both distances will be chip-timed.
• Course Details: The course will start and finish in front of the iconic clock tower and will loop around the park and neighborhoods south of the hospital campus.

🏆 Awards & Prizes

• Race Shirts: All participants will receive a short-sleeve wicking race shirt (must register by September 15th to be guaranteed your size).
• Cash Prizes: $100 for 1st place overall, $50 for 2nd place overall, and $25 for 3rd place overall will be awarded in each of the Men's and Women's divisions.
• Age-group Awards: Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
• Pacers: There will be pacers for the half marathon with information available at https://www.fleetfeet.com/s/westreading/about/reading-hospital-half-marathon-official-pacers

🚶‍♀️ 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run

• Start Time: 10:30am
• Start Location: This untimed event will start on Spruce Street at 6th in front of the clock tower.
• Finish Location: The event will finish on 6th directly in front of the clock tower at the hospital.
