Race Description
- Purpose: Support our beloved town pool that needs $1.2 million dollars in repairs and upgrades before we can re-open it.
- Route: Traverse through the streets of Cressona.
- Celebration: Ends at Bubeck Park with a fun festival afterwards.
- Participants: All ages, abilities, and even pets are welcome. Only strollers or wagons are permitted on the course.
Registration
- Timing: You can choose to have your run results timed or not, allowing for a fun experience without pressure.
- Packet Pick Up: Friday November 20, 12:00-5:00 pm at Cressona Borough Hall, and Race Day from 9:00 am-9:45 am at The Cressona Pool Concession Building.
- Costs: Pre-registration - $30 (closes at 11:59 pm on Nov 20), Race Day registration - $35.
- Format: Non-chip enabled bibs assigned: race results uploaded the next business day.
Participation Options
- Virtual Option: Participate by running/walking your 5K when and where you want!
- T-shirt Guarantee: Register by November 1, 2026 for a sweatshirt, timing bib, and special finisher medal.
- Fun Run/Walk: T-shirts are available for purchase until November 1 (no bibs provided).
- Upgrade: 5K participants can upgrade to a long sleeve T-shirt for $10 more.
Awards and Prizes
- Categories: Overall top male and female, and age group division winners.
- Ages: 14 and under: 15-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60+.
- Awards Announcement: By 11:15 am at the finish line at Bubeck Park.
- Eligibility: Must cross the finish line before 11:00 am for age awards.
Weather and Dog Policy
- Weather: The event is rain or shine: dress appropriately.
- Gear Check: None provided: parking is close to check-in and starting line.
- Refunds: Sorry, race fees are not refundable.
- Dogs: Welcome and encouraged: must be leashed and comfortable around others.

- Previous Race: Race 1- Spooky Schuylkill 5K on 10/31.
