🤔 Race Name Origin

Why is it called Honest Abe? It is because Abraham Lincoln's birthday is February 12th and the race is held on... oh my, this wasn’t planned well. It’s an honest mistake, good thing we’re a running club and not a history club.

📝 Registration Details

• Single Race Registration: This is for a single race sign-up.
• Winter Series Sign-Up: To sign up for the series, please go to the Winter Series Sign Up page.
• Membership Requirement: You must register for an annual BCRR membership prior to registering for the entire series.
• Onsite Registration: Single event registration for non-members is available onsite on race day only.

🏆 Awards Information

For those who wish to compete for awards: You must also fulfill the series requirement of at least one race and one volunteer assignment. Please read the Winter Series Rules for more information.

📅 About the Winter Series

An event which began back in 1978, the BCRR Winter Series includes 11 weekly races from December through February (weather permitting). Registration for membership and the Winter Series begins in the fall of each year.
