🏅 Event Overview

• Date: September 19, 2026
• Location: Fort Indiantown Gap Community Club, Annville, PA
• Organizer: Pennsylvania Army National Guard
• Rain or Shine: This event will take place regardless of weather conditions.

🎖️ Purpose of the Event

• Honor: The event honors all fallen service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
• Community Involvement: Both military and civilian communities participate annually.
• Respect: It's a time to honor and remember those who served.
• Event Roots: The race will be manually timed, returning to its original format.

🏃 Race Events

• March Options: Participants can choose from 28- and 14-mile heavy or light marches, 5k run/walk, or a virtual option.
• Heavy March: Requires a minimum 35lbs ruck.
• Light Division: A minimum 10lb ruck is needed to qualify for an award.
• Awards: Individual race winners will receive awards from the Training Site.

📍 Course Details

• Route Challenges: The marches feature a mix of asphalt and steep mountain trails.
• Elevation: The start point elevation is 500.77', climbing to 1239.43'.
• Low Point: The lowest elevation is 484.28' within the first mile.
• Safety: Bibs must always be displayed on the back and are required on the courses.

🛍️ Packet Pickup

• Dates: Packet pickup is available on September 18 from 4:30-7:00 PM and on race day starting at 5:30 AM.
• T-shirt Sales: T-shirts can be ordered separately: deadline is August 30 at 11:59 PM.
• Late Orders: The store re-opens on September 1 for delivery only after the race.

⚠️ Important Information

• Registration: Required to participate: donations are not mandatory.
• Pets: Not permitted, except for licensed service dogs.
• Drones: Use of personal drones is prohibited on the installation.
• ID Requirement: Valid ID is required to enter Fort Indiantown Gap Base.
