🏃‍♀️ Race Description

Your Next Step is the Cure will embark on its seventh year of bringing awareness and raising funds for a rare cancer called Ocular Melanoma. The event will be held at Alderman’s Ford Park in Plant City, FL. Learn more.

• Awareness and Fundraising: Supporting the Melanoma Research Foundation – CURE OM.
• Event Location: Alderman’s Ford Park, a beloved venue.
• Cancer Awareness: Ocular melanoma affects six out of one million people annually.
• Objective: Raise funds and awareness for ocular melanoma research.

👧 KID'S FUN RUN

Like last year, the Kid's Fun Run is for ages 0-9 and will feature a paved trail route. Each child will receive a finisher's medal. The race starts at 9:15 am.

⭐ IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT THE RACE EVENT

• 5K Race: Begins at 8:00 am and is chip timed.
• Kids Fun Run: Starts at 9:15 am with a fun run route along the paved trail.
• Awards: Top 3 male and female in various age groups will be recognized.
• Medals & Shirts: Finisher medals for all 5K runners and participants, shirts for 5K registrants.

🏁 PACKET PICK-UP

Pick up your race packet on October 3rd from 2pm – 7pm at Park Square Plaza or on race morning starting at 7:00 am. Each packet includes a shirt, chipped bib for the 5K, and a swag bag filled with giveaways.
