🌅 Race Details

• History: Join the LRC for the 49th annual Lake to Lake 10k, the oldest annual race in Polk County.
• Course: The race runs on residential streets and paved running paths through the Lakeland chain of lakes and the historic Lake Morton district, encompassing three lakes.
• Walkers: Welcome with a minimum pace requirement of 16:00 min/mile. Race is chip-timed and USATF-certified (FL20027JK).
• Support: Thank you to the Denis L Fontaine Foundation for their support since 1994: a donation from the 5k will benefit the YMCA of Central Florida.

📍 Race Start

• Time: The race starts at 7:30 AM.
• Location: Starts at Rose St near the intersection with N Ingraham Ave, about 1/4 mile from packet pickup location on Lake Mirror.
• Parking: Available throughout downtown Lakeland and in city parking garages. Preferred garage for the 5k is the Lakeland Electric garage on Orange St.

📝 Registration

• Registration Deadline: Online registration through October 28 or until sold out.
• Onsite Registration: Onsite registration will be available during packet pickup on October 31, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and November 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 AM.

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Early Pick Up: Friday at Cleveland Heights golf course and Saturday at the Tribute to the Volunteer Statue on the Frances Langford Promenade.
• Times: October 31 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM: November 1 from 6:00 AM to 7:15 AM.
• Locations: Cleveland Heights Golf Club and Tribute to the Volunteer Statue at Lake Mirror.

• Route: The course starts on Rose Ave, turns on Lake Ave, continues to Orange, then south on Iowa Ave to Lake Morton, returning to finish on the Lake Mirror Promenade.

🏆 Results & Awards

• Results: Available on the Lakeland Runners Club website.
• Awards: Overall male and female based on gun time, others based on chip time.
• Categories: Recognition for masters and grandmasters, as well as age group placements.
• Pickup: Awards will be presented after the final finisher, around 9:00 AM.

• Restrictions: No dogs, bicycles, roller skates, or in-line skates on the course. Use of headphones is discouraged.
• Weather Policy: Held rain or shine, subject to safety conditions: weather monitored prior to the event.
• Heat Advisory: Hydration is important: plan for warm weather and high humidity.

• Nonrefundable: This race is nonrefundable.
• Transfer Policy: Registration transfers allowed until one week before the race: giving bibs to others is not permitted.
