The 12th Annual Promise Run will take place rain or shine at the Lake Mirror Promenade in Downtown Lakeland. 121 South Lake Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33801.

Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on the following dates:
- March 5, 2026: 6:00am-11:00am - Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children
- February 27, 2026: 4:00pm-7:00pm - Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children
- February 28, 2026: 4:00pm-7:00pm - Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children
- Race Day: Starting at 6:00am at the Lake Mirror Promenade Registration Tent
Registration
Registration is open to the first 1,400 registrants.
- Advance Registration: Register before the race starting at 6:00am on Saturday, March 1, 2026.
- Payment: Cash and credit cards accepted.
- Shirt Sizes: Cannot be guaranteed on race day.
- Location: Registration Tent at Lake Mirror Promenade.
Course
The Promise Run 10k and 5k races start and finish in downtown Lakeland, following the historic streets as you navigate the scenic lakes.
- Certification: 10K and 5K are certified courses.
- Course Maps: Available below.
- Start/Finish: Both races start at Lake Mirror Promenade.
- Scenery: Enjoy stunning views of Lakeland's lakes.

What is Included
- Race Packet: Each participant receives a race bib with a ChronoTrack Race Timing Tag.
- Performance Shirt: High quality shirt with size exchanges allowed after the 5K starts.
- Finishers Medal: Upon race completion.
- Awards: Top finishers will receive an award: post-race refreshments available.

Kid’s Run
Join us for our Kid’s Run! It’s Free! Registration will take place at the Registration Tent, and the Kid’s Run will start after the 5k.
- Groups: Registered children divided into appropriate groups.
- Finishers Ribbons: Given to each child at the Finish Line.
- Registration: Each child must be registered by a parent or guardian.
- Race Number: Must wear their race number.
Parking
Parking garages on Iowa Street and Main Street will be open and are free on the weekends.
- Iowa Garage: Closest to event start and finish line.
- Summit Building: Open on Massachusetts Avenue.
- Additional Lots: Several free lots around the promenade.
- Attendance: Expecting over 1,500 attendees: arrive early.

Please note: To guarantee your award, it must be picked up at the event.
10k Awards
- Overall Division: Top Three Male and Top Three Female
- Masters Division: Top Male and Top Female
- Age Group Division: Top Three Male & Top Three Female in various age groups
5k Awards
- Overall Division: Top Three Male and Top Three Female
- Masters Division: Top Male and Top Female
- Age Group Division: Top Three Male & Top Three Female in various age groups
Shirt Sizes
Shirts will be unisex sizes XS through 3XL. Exchanges can be done after the 5k starts.

Prohibited on the race courses:
5k Race Course

10k Race Course
- All of the above
- Strollers/baby joggers/babies in carriers
Stroller Policy for 5k:
- Children must stay in the stroller and cannot be carried.
- All strollers must start at the back of the starting group.
- Strollers can pass but only if walking.
