This is an easy 5k on a paved path with small section of grass. Not a trail race!

Ultra Ultras is excited to bring you this Turkey Trot 5k and kids fun run in Lake Wales on Nov 27th, 2025, at 8am! Join us at Lake Wailes Park. After your run, enjoy pumpkin pancakes with friends, family, and everyone else that’s up early to run on Thanksgiving Day! This is a Fun-Run, so come in your fastest running outfit or in full Turkey Costume!

🏅 Entry Fees

• Cost: $35 until May 31st, 2025
• Cost: $40 until Race Day (Nov 27th, 2025)
• Students 18 & Under: $25.00
• Donation: A portion of each race fee will be donated to Lake Wales Rec Center!

🍽️ Post-Race Food

• Food: Hot grilled pumpkin pancakes for all participants after the race, starting about 8:30 AM!
• Snacks: Bananas and other snacks will also be available.

📦 Packet Pickup

• When: Wednesday, Nov 26th, 4-7 PM at Lake Wailes Park
• When: Thursday, Nov 27th, 6:30-7:45 AM at race start area

• Categories: Top Overall Male & Female
• Masters: Top Overall Male & Female Masters (Over 40+ years of age)
• Grand Master: Top Overall Male & Female Grand Master (Over 50+ years of age)

👶 Kids' Run

FREE KID’S RUN at 9:15 AM (time is approximate) - For kids 9 & under. We will divide the kids into 2 to 3 year age groups depending on the number of kids running. Race distance will be between 20 yards & 400 yards depending on age. NO SHIRTS GIVEN FOR THIS EVENT All kids receive a Winning Ribbon!

👕 T-Shirts & Finisher Medals

• Shirt Size Guarantee: Sizes guaranteed if registered by Nov 1st!
• Race Day Registrations: T-shirts available on a first come, first serve basis!

⏱️ Timing & Scoring

Race will be timed and scored by FITNICHE timing with a disposable chip which will be attached to the back of the bib.
