Ultra Ultras Turkey Trot 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: November 27, 2025
• Time: 8 AM
• Location: 198 N Lake Shore Blvd, Lake Wales, FL
• Race Type: Easy 5k on a paved path with a small section of grass. Not a trail race!

🥞 Post-Race Celebration

• Event: Enjoy pumpkin pancakes with friends and family after the race!
• Fun Dress: Come in your fastest outfit or a full Turkey Costume!
• Donation: A portion of each race fee will be donated to Lake Wales Rec Center!
• Snacks: Hot grilled pumpkin pancakes, bananas, and other snacks available!

📅 Race Registration Fees

• Regular Entry: $35 until May 31, 2025
• Race Day Entry: $40 until November 27, 2025
• Students: $25 for ages 18 & under
• Medals: Guaranteed for the first 300 registered!

📦 Packet Pickup

• When: Wednesday, November 26th from 4 PM to 7 PM
• Where: Lake Wailes Park, 198 N Lakeshore Blvd, Lake Wales
• Race Day Pickup: Thursday, November 27th from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM
• Race Starts: 8 AM!

🏆 Awards Ceremony

• Time: Approximately 9:30 AM
• Categories: Top Overall Male & Female
• Age Divisions:
  • Top Overall Male & Female Masters (40+)
  • Top Overall Male & Female Grand Master (50+)
  • Top 3 in Age Groups: 9 & under, 10-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Note: Cannot win Overall and Age Group!

👶 Free Kid’s Run

• Time: 9:15 AM (approximate)
• Age Group: For kids 9 & under
• Distance: Between 20 yards & 400 yards depending on age
• Prizes: All kids receive a Winning Ribbon (no shirts given)

👕 T-Shirts and Medals

• Sizes: Guaranteed if registered by November 1st!
• Finisher Medals: Provided for all participants

⏱️ Timing and Scoring

• Service: Race timed and scored by FITNICHE timing
• Chip Timing: Disposable chip attached to the back of the bib
