Central Florida Heroes 5k

Event Overview

The 5th Annual Central Florida Heroes 5K will be held at the Tom Fellows Community Center in Davenport.

This promises to be a fun event that you can enjoy with your friends and family.

Race Details

The Central Florida Heroes 5K will begin at 7:30 am with much pomp-and-circumstance as we celebrate the heroes among us.

We will honor veterans, active military, firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, teachers and healthcare professionals as we gather on Veterans Day weekend.

We invite you to bring your family and friends and help us celebrate.

Participants' Perks

• T-shirts: All participants will receive a tri-blend t-shirt (shirts and sizes are guaranteed if pre-registered before October 11, 2026).
• Custom Bib: Each participant will receive a custom bib.
• Finisher Medal: Participants will earn a finisher medal.
• Giveaways: Vendors will provide various giveaways.

Activities and Breakfast

We also invite you to stop and visit with our race sponsors before and after your run and enjoy a pancake breakfast while you are waiting for the awards ceremony to begin.

Parking Information

PARKING: Please arrive before 7:00am to avoid traffic around road closures. Some roads around the Tom Fellows Community Center, including State Street and North Blvd W, will be closed at 7:00am in preparation. Please plan accordingly!

Packet Pickup

• FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2026: 4-7PM - EARLY PACKET PICKUP at Jarrett Gordon Ford, 2600 Access Rd, Davenport, FL 33837.
• SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2026: Race Day at Tom Fellows Community Center, 207 North Blvd W., Davenport, FL 33837.
• 6:30-7:15AM: Day of Race Packet Pickup Only - NO DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION.
• 7:30 AM: 5k Race Starts.
• 8:00 AM: Start of the Pancake Breakfast.
• 8:40 AM: Approx time of Awards.
