👟 About the Event

Are You Ready to Hunt?
Whether you’re chasing a personal best or chasing Sasquatch himself, this is one race you won’t want to miss. Gather your friends, bring the family, and come see if you can catch a glimpse of the legend.

Word on the trail is Sasquatch has packed up and headed north to escape the brutal Florida summer (turns out, all that fur isn’t exactly heat-friendly). But don’t worry—he’ll be back.

Once the cooler months roll in, Sasquatch will return to Bone Valley ATV Park, located in Mulberry, FL., brush off the dust, and begin preparing for race day… and maybe even leave a few clues behind for those brave enough to find them.

Join us at the rugged and scenic Bone Valley ATV Park for the Hunt for Sasquatch, a fun and slightly mysterious race experience featuring a 10K, 5K, and a family-friendly 1-mile color run. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just in it for the fun, there’s a distance—and an adventure—waiting for you.

🏃‍♀️ Race Options

• 10K Run: (No Color) Take on the full Sasquatch challenge with a scenic and rugged course through the park. Expect a mix of terrain and plenty of natural beauty.
• 5K Run: (No Color) Perfect for runners and walkers alike, this course offers a fun and accessible route with just enough wilderness to keep things interesting.
• 1-Mile Color Run: (Color will only be on this race) A high-energy, family-friendly run filled with bursts of color along the way. This is all about fun, laughter, and getting a little messy!

🏆 Challenge Options

• Sasquatch Revenge Challenge: Think one race isn’t enough? Take on both the 10K and 5K in this back-to-back challenge designed to test your endurance and determination.
• Trifecta Challenge: Ready to go all in? Complete the 10K, 5K, and 1-Mile Color Run to earn ultimate bragging rights—and prove you can keep up with Sasquatch all day long.

🕒 Race Schedules

• 10K: No Color Powder - Race starts at 7:30 a.m.
• 5K: No Color Powder - Race starts at 9:30 a.m.
• 1 Mile: Color Fun Run - Race starts at 10:30 a.m. * All race start times are approximate

🎉 What to Expect

• Race Experience: Unique trail-style race experience.
• Sasquatch Surprises: Sasquatch-themed surprises along the course.
• Fun for All: Color stations for 1-mile participants.
• Awards: Awards to the top three Male and Female Runners for each age category - No Finisher Medals.

Registered runners will receive a t-shirt (Adult Size) and swag bag. Shirts are guaranteed to those who pre-register before Dec. 31, 2026. After that, the shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis while supplies last. Please note that some sizes will not be available close to or on race day.

We are only offering day of race packet pickups. Please follow Polk County Parks & Recreation’s Facebook Page @PolkCoFLParksAndRec and your emails once registered for any race updates. (This page will also be updated periodically.)
