Brandon Half Marathon & 5K

🏃‍♂️ Join Us for the Brandon Half Marathon & 5K

Join Brandon Running Association for our annual BRANDON HALF MARATHON & 5K event on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Both race courses will run along the Brandon Parkway, with the Half Marathon extending on the Selmon Expressway. Both races start and finish at 2016 Town Center Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.

🌡️ Course Overview

• Temperature: Average temperature in the 50's (Fahrenheit).
• Terrain: This course is mostly flat and fast, ideal for personal records or training.
• Elevation: The 5K has very little elevation change: the Half Marathon has some elevation change on the Expressway.

Awards and Recognition

• Awards: Given to Top Male and Female Overall, Masters (40+) and Grand Masters (50+) winners.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female in each age group: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+.
• Finisher Medal: All Half Marathon & 5K finishers will receive a finisher award/medal.

👕 Participant Perks

• Shirt: Unisex Long Sleeve Race Shirt (guaranteed if pre-registered before Dec 14, 2025).
• Photos: Free race photos.
• Post-Race Bash: Enjoy grilled chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, fruit, free beer, soda, and water, plus on-site post-race massage.

⏳ Important Information

Note: Cut off time for half marathon participants is 3 hours and 15 minutes. If you are on course after this point, you will have the option to be picked up and driven to the finish area or to continue to complete the remainder of the course, abiding by Hillsborough County pedestrian laws. Course support and road closures will not be available after this time point.

📦 Packet Pickup

UPTATE: Early Packet Pick-Up: Race day packet pickup is available starting at 6:00 a.m. If you like to avoid packet pickup lines on race morning, come to our pre-race day packet pickup opportunities:

• Friday, January 9, 4-7 PM at Fit2Run in Brandon Exchange (459 Brandon Town Center Mall, Brandon, FL)
• Saturday, January 10, 1-5 PM at Fit2Run in Brandon Exchange (459 Brandon Town Center Mall, Brandon, FL)
