Running Is Back 10K & 5K – This Saturday at Liberty State Park!
Runners, race day is almost here! To help make your experience smooth and fun, please read through the important race week details below:
🏁 Race Day
- Date: Saturday, April 19, 2025
- 10K Start Time: 9:00 AM
- 5K Start Time: 9:15 AM (directly after the 10K)
- Reminder: If you are registered for the 5K, do not start with the 10K group and vice versa—your timing chip will not record correctly if you're in the wrong race.
📍 Course Info
- Certification: USATF certified, fast & flat with minimal turns.
- 10K: Two loops
- 5K: One loop
🎽 Early Bib Pick-Up
Skip the Race Day Lines!
- Where: Reign Running Store – 2060 Hudson Street, Fort Lee, NJ 07024
- When: Friday, April 18 | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Bonus Perk: 20% OFF in-store purchases during bib pick-up!
- Note: Can’t make it Friday? Race day pick-up is available starting at 7:45 AM. Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your start time.
🏆 Awards
Top 3 overall male and female finishers.
Age group awards (Top 3 M/F) for both distances:
- 12 & under
- 13-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70+
Runners must complete the distance they originally registered for – either the 5K or the 10K. Switching distances on race day is not permitted and your time will be disqualified.

- Fast runners: up front
- Joggers: in the middle
- Walkers: towards the back

- Registration: behind the park offices at the FLAG PLAZA.
🚗 Parking
Must Be Prepaid
- Cost: $7.
- Note: All race day parking must be prepaid as per Liberty State Park regulations.
- Payment: Log into your RSU (RunSignUp) account and purchase parking as an add-on to your registration.
📊 Results
- Timing: All runners are chip-timed.
- Results: No paper results on-site — times will be posted on RunSignUp and texted to participants shortly after the race.
🎒 Bag Check
Available on race day for $5. Cash or Venmo.
🏅 Finisher’s Medal
Every 10K and 5K runner will receive a custom 2025 Finisher’s Medal at the finish line!
📸 Photos
Free professional race photos will be emailed to all runners within 72 hours after the event.
