AVDA's 24th Annual Race for Hope

🏁 Race Description

This fun event for all ages (and pets!) supports AVDA's programs and services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. Join us as we race for hope to end violence.

🐾 Virtual Option

• Participate Virtually: Choose to run on your own time and share your participation on social media using #RaceforHope2023.

📝 Registration

• Early Registration: Register early to secure one of the 500 t-shirts.
• Packet Pick-up: TBA at Runner's Edge in Boca Raton or available on race day.

🏅 Awards

• Overall Awards: Given to top finishers and age division winners in the 5K.
• Purple Party Awards: Awards for best-dressed individuals in purple attire.
• Hometown Hero Awards: Recognition for first place police officers, firefighters, and military personnel.
• Fundraising Awards: Rewards for top individual fundraiser and fundraising team.

🐶 Pet Friendly Race

You can bring your pet by registering for the 5K Race with Pet option, which includes a bandana for your furry friend.

🔁 Course, Timing, and Scoring

The course is USATF certified, and the 5K Run will have Net Timing by AccuChip Timing. Participants must wear a tag and bib number for scoring.
