Race Overview
The Better Together 5k Run/Walk is part of a community event designed to support the Berea Food Bank and to remind all of us that we are indeed Better Together.
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025
- Location: Berea City Park, Pirate Parkway, Berea, KY 40403
- Significance: This 4th Annual event is celebrating its 33rd anniversary.
- Community Impact: 33 years of Bereans taking care of each other and supporting families in need.
Schedule
- 7:30-8:30AM: Packet Pickup
- 8:30AM: Welcome
- 8:45AM: Kids Dash
- 9:00AM: 5K
Race Features
- Course: Relatively flat/fast course through Berea City Park and the Berea City Trail
- Swag: Winter beanie/race caps AND a fleece headband option
- Awards: Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers plus Top 3 M/F in age groups (0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+)
- Inclusivity: Something for everyone - 5K run/walk, Kids Dash & virtual option (Wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, dogs on leashes are welcomed)
- Kids Dash: Registration will be free for children under age 18
- Finish Line Perks: Free snacks and hot chocolate
- Community Celebration: We welcome Berea Alumni back for Homecoming!
- Free Photos: Free race photos (Thanks Sarah Heggen!)
- Fun Festivities: Music, food, fun & fellowship
Community Contribution
This event and your generosity will help keep food on the shelves of the Berea Food Bank well into the new year.
Packet Pickup
We plan to hold our packet pickup on race morning at Berea City Park near the football field/bleachers from 7:30-8:30am. Be on the lookout for a Friday pickup option on Berea College's campus!
