Better Together 5K Overview
The Better Together 5K Run/Walk is part of a community event designed to support the Berea Food Bank and to remind all of us that we are indeed Better Together.

- Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
- Location: Berea City Park, Pirate Parkway, Berea, KY 40403
- Annual Celebration: 5th Annual event celebrating its 34th anniversary
- Community Impact: 34 years of Bereans taking care of each other
Schedule
- 7:30-8:30AM: Packet Pickup
- 8:30AM: Welcome
- 8:45AM: Kids Dash
- 9:00AM: 5K Start
Race Features
- Inclusive Events: 5K run/walk, Kids Dash & virtual option (Wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, dogs on leashes are welcomed!)
- Course Details: Relatively flat/fast course through Berea City Park and the Berea City Trail
- Participant Gear: Winter beanie/race caps AND a fleece headband option
- Awards: Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers and age groups (0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+)
Additional Amenities
- Snacks and Water: Free snacks and water at the finish
- Free Photos: Free race photos (Thanks Sarah Heggen!)
- Entertainment: Music, food, fun & fellowship
- Community Support: Your generosity helps keep food on the shelves of the Berea Food Bank well into the new year.
Packet Pickup
We plan to hold our packet pickup on race morning at Berea City Park near the football field/bleachers from 7:30-8:45am.
