Event Overview

Join us for a scenic 5k run or walk at the beautiful Stony Creek Metropark! Our 4th annual Set the PACE 5K supports PACE Southeast Michigan's mission to help older adults live safely and independently in their homes and communities. Your participation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in Southeast Michigan. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while supporting a great cause!

What does my 5K packet include?

• Registration Deadline: All participants who registered by Friday, May 23, 2025, will receive a t-shirt and a race bib.
• Finish Line Medal: Participants will also receive a medal at the finish line.
• Virtual Participation: Virtual participants will receive a medal in their race packet.
• T-shirt Availability: T-shirts cannot be guaranteed if registered after May 23, 2025.

Race Details

• Course Type: This is a timed, out-and-back 5K course on a two-way paved bike path with the start and finish at Stony Creek Metropark's Eastwood Beach.
• Water Station: One water station will be provided on the course at the turnaround at approximately the 2-mile mark.
• Pet Policy: Although we love our furry friends at PACE Southeast Michigan, we ask that you please leave your personal pets/dogs at home for the safety and comfort of our runners and volunteers.
• Weather Policy: This event is non-refundable and will occur rain or shine.

Awards

Awards will be provided to the first three male and female finishers, and to runners in each of the following age groups:

• Age Group: 15 and under
• Age Group: 16 - 30
• Age Group: 31 - 45
• Age Group: 46 - 60
• Age Group: 61 and up
