• The Last Outlaw - Last Man Standing Event: A backyard ultra where runners must complete a 4.167-mile lap within one hour in a test of endurance.
• Unique Format: Race ends when only one runner remains to complete a lap, with others marked as DNF (Did Not Finish).
• Origin: Invented by Gary "Lazarus Lake" Cantrell, also known for founding the Barkley Marathons.
• Challenges: Participants face sleep deprivation, exhaustion, and varying weather conditions.

🔧 Event Specific Rules

• Each lap can be a round or out-and-back course.
• Runners must be in the starting box when the hourly bell rings.
• No leaving the course except for restroom breaks. Personal assistance only between laps.
• No non-competitors on the course except to escort eliminated runners to safety.
