Harmon Field Half Marathon & Morris Fun Run

Race Overview

We are so excited to announce the inaugural Harmon Field Half Marathon & Morris Fun Run! After Harmon Field was devastated by Hurricane Helene in 2024, it is now repaired and back open! We are excited to welcome back this much loved, scenic, out-and-back, 13.1-mile race through the beautiful Hunting Country of Polk County, NC. Our hope for this inaugural race is that it brings together runners, walkers, spectators, and families for a day of fitness, fun, and community impact. The proceeds of this race will support Harmon Field special projects.

Key Details

• Cut-off Time: The Harmon Field Half Marathon has a 4-hour cut-off time (8:00am start-12:00pm cut off).
• T-shirt Registration: Registration cut off for t-shirts is March 31st! No t-shirts after this date.
• Date: The race will take place on April 24, 2027.
• Location: 117 Harmon Field Road, Tryon, NC.

Awards and Age Divisions

• Overall Male and Female: Top runners will be recognized in both categories.
• Masters Male and Female: Special recognition for older runners.
• Age Groups: Awards for the top 3 Male and Female in each age group.
• Categories: Age groups from 12 and under to 80+.
