Coon Dog Day 5K Race Details

The Coon Dog Day 2026 will be held in Saluda, NC on July 11th and the 5K will be better than ever!

Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday July 10
• Location: Saluda Inn, 229 Greenville St., Saluda
• Time: 5-8 pm
• Bonus: Free hotdog at packet pickup!

Race Day Check-in

• Date: Saturday Morning, July 11
• Location: Looking Glass Realty, 108 East Main St., beside the post office
• Start/Finish Line: Main Street
• Registration: Online only via the runsignup.com page

Parking Information

• Available Until: 9:30 am at select churches
• Note: Move your car to the festival parking lot by 9:30 am
• Alternate Parking: Saluda Elementary School back (bus) Parking Lot on Seminary Street
• Walking Distance: Short walk to start line on Main Street

Race Highlights

• Host: Polk County High School Cadets marching band
• Start Time: 8 am
• Route: Traditional Coon Dog Day 5k route
• Registration Deadline: Guarantee a t-shirt by registering by June 15th!

• Chip Timing: For all participants
• Awards: Given by age groups
• Kids’ Fun Run: With clock timing and a new route for kids
• Festival: Stay for crafts, food, music, and quirky small town fun!
