About this race
You’re In. Welcome to UltraTrax North Carolina.
On March 20, 2027, you’ll take on a full day of movement, challenge, and time on the trails at Tryon International.
Race Overview
- Location: Tryon International’s 1,600-acre property, Mill Spring, NC
- Course: A mix of wooded trails, rolling terrain, open stretches, and quiet foothills
- Challenge: Walk 7 miles or push all the way to 28 miles
- Event Duration: Complete your goal within the 10-hour event window
Event Details
10 hours. One 7-mile loop. Four distances. How far will you go?
- Start Times:
- 28 milers: 7am
- 21 milers: 7:45am
- 14 milers: 8:30am
- 7 milers: 9:15am
- Bib Pickup: May be mailed in advance or picked up on event morning
- Ruck Challenge: Bring your own ruck, backpack, or weighted vest
- Backpack Weight: All items in your pack count except perishable food and drinks
Finish Line Rewards
Finishers will receive:
- Medals: Custom UltraTrax finisher medal (Grey Wolf Medal for 28 and 21 milers, Trail Wolf Medal for 14 and 7 milers)
- Event Shirt: UltraTrax event T-shirt
- Patch: UltraTrax patch
- Swag: Additional swag for weighted divisions
Post-Event Experience
After your trek, stick around and enjoy the venue with restaurants, gathering spaces, and other amenities, making it a great place to recover, refuel, and celebrate after the miles are done. Friends and family are welcome to join you as well!
