🏃‍♂️The Bull Run for ALS of Michigan - Milford / Kensington Metro Park - RACE PAGE

This is the 8th annual Bull Run for ALS of Michigan held at Kensington Park in Milford, Michigan. The Bull Run 5K is a chip timed accurate 5k run/walk. The Calf Mile is FREE for kids 10yrs and under. All proceeds go to ALS of Michigan to help our pALS (people with ALS) here in Michigan.

There is a lot of symbolism in The Bull Run.

• Name Origin: This run is named in honor of Kenneth C. VanBlaricum, who passed from ALS in Feb. 2010.
• Symbolic Medal: The finishers medal is a dog tag honoring his service in the National Guard.
• Course Design: The race starts at the ball diamond and ends at home plate, symbolizing a home run for our pALS.
• Final Note: This run is a dream come true to honor my father. Thank you for being a part of it.

📋Race DETAILS:

• Pricing: 5k run/walk $40 until 9/06, $45 9/07 to 9/26, $50 race day. Calf Mile is FREE for ages 10 and under. No shirt option for $5 less. Online registration only.
• Race Swag: Finishers medal includes registration, performance tee available through September 6th. No shirt option for $5 less.
• Course: The 5K is an out and back on a paved pathway with some hills, starting at Martindale Beach and running to the Milford connector circle.
• Early Packet Pick-Up: Wednesday 9/23, from 5-7:30 PM at Captain's on Main, Brighton. Friday 9/25, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Running Lab Brighton.

🗓️Race Day Schedule:

• 5K Run: 7:00 AM Packet Pick-Up | 8:30 AM Run
• Calf (1/2) Mile Fun Run: 7:30 AM Check in | 8 AM Run
• Participation Fee: No fee for kids 10 and under.
• Awards: Overall Male and Female, Top 3 in various age groups.

⏱️Results:

Results will be live during the event and full results will be posted on this Run Signup page. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
