Background

• Inspiration: Megan Bugg passed away on March 9, 2022 after a courageous and inspirational seven year battle with childhood cancer.
• Advocacy: During her fight, Megan became a passionate national advocate for childhood cancer advocacy and research.
• Fundraising: Her advocacy efforts led to her speaking in Washington, D.C. and raising nearly $1 million to fund promising childhood cancer research.
• Foundation: The Megan's Mission Foundation was founded in Megan's memory to continue pursuing her dream of ending childhood cancer through advocacy and research.

Fundraising Efforts

• Impact: To date, the Megan's Mission Foundation has raised over $2.6 million to fund the most promising childhood cancer research in the country.
• Research Laboratory: The research takes place in the "Megan Bugg Global Rhabdomyosarcoma Research Laboratory" at the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute.
• Event Purpose: All funds from this event will support the Megan's Mission Foundation and our commitment to realizing Megan's dream that no more children will experience childhood cancer.
