North American Canicross presents STEEPLECHASE STAMPEDE! Come join us October 5th at the Georgia International Horse Park for our In-Person CANICROSS RACE! Held at the prestigious Georgia International Horse Park, renowned as the site of The 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, this event is not to be missed!
Important: If you register in the 2-dog class but decide to drop a dog during the event at any distance, you will still be classified as a 2-dog competitor based on your original registration.
You will start with the 10K event. Upon completing the 10K, you must switch to the corresponding bib for the 5K. After finishing the 5K, you may start the Sprint when ready. The required sequence is: 10K → 5K → Sprint. A new bib must be worn for each distance.
The final time for the Tri-Hound Crown will be the combined total of all individual event finish times.
If you do not wish to run all three distances, you may register for one or two individual events. However, this will not qualify you for the Tri-Hound Crown. Additionally, if you are interested in running with different dogs, we encourage you to register for each race individually.
New to canicross or training a pup? Join us for the Dog-Friendly Trail Race class right after the competitive canicross event!
Can’t join us on race day? No problem! We’ve got a virtual option for you! Virtual racers complete the course on their own time and turf. Run, jog, or walk the distance from anywhere and submit your results online. It’s a great way to be part of the event no matter where you are!
You’ll have until October 31st to complete your run and submit your results. Each runner will receive a logo race T-shirt and finisher challenge coin!
Note: T-Shirt is not guaranteed if you register after September 20th. Additional Race Logo swag will be available for purchase.
All dogs running in canicross are required to wear designated canicross gear. Harnesses that have “Y” chest bands and do not restrict the dogs movement, bungee lead 4' - 6’ ft attached to a hands free waist belt must be worn for those running in the canicross class. Only one dog can be run at a time, unless in the 2-Dog Canicross Class or Dog Friendly Class.
