The 15th Annual Firecracker 6 is set for July 4, 2024 starting at 8AM. Start the tradition, or continue yours joining us at Indiana's Largest 4th of July road race located in our beautiful capital city. Downtown Indy has played host to this event annually. Firecracker 6 offers a 6k Run/Walk giving participants of all abilities a challenge to kick off their 4th of July. Firecracker 6 is based out of beautiful White River State Park starting/finishing at the Indiana State Museum Lawn and running/walking on surrounding streets, & paved trails. This area is a favorite for local runners/walkers, and showcases countless beautiful views along the river including some of our absolute favorite viewpoints of the city skyline. The race is conveniently located by several parking garages, the Indianapolis Zoo, Victory Field, Indiana State Museum, Eiteljorg Museum, and of course it is one of the best viewpoints for evening firework celebrations.
